OMG...........why are there not more comments praising this golden masterpiece? o0o
Damn there citgepolol at what you accomplished here and something I might say that stems very damn close to the original artwork from the game itself! Got the art book at home and even how well you capture the feel and look of Alice is just too damn close to the last Madness Returns game and how incredibly creepy it all comes together.
That said very lovely and stunning work of art here, it feels like a painting and a very grim one at that. Even more towards the way you capture Alice with both her saneness and insanity all in one. I just love her character and how well composed she feels here even when drenched with blood all over her outfit and knife itself.
The pose feel right of the game as I've seen her do it a few times when you leave her standing still but even then you nail the look of her outfit, the long feel of her hair to even the sad and quiet look in her eyes and face. Even where she is right now with all the red and perhaps flesh around her, it seems so very much like Alice from American McGee and that's a hard thing for any artist to get 100%.
However you pull it off without a hitch. Getting even into the colors, again just like a damn painting with how well you tone, layer and even shade her skin to make it appear both dark and having dim signs of warm light to it. Find it neat that way you focus the light like on a killer of sorts and as soon as the lights would go out, she'll be gone. But just incredible work done showing on things like the different bits of splatter on her dress, the shiny and metallic look of her horseshoe or even the thick and fleshy red feel of the background. Looks just insane looking at all of this and I adore it.
Huge applause to you citgepolol, some magnificent work you did here that even the producers of the game would give you credit for. *nods*
